Do you like beer? If the answer is YES , then you have to try our semi hard cheese PAPRENJAK…
Paprenjak is cow’s milk cheese with pepper. A mix of mild and spicy pepper gives this cheese a dose of piquancy…and it goes nice with beer…Believe us- we have tried it!
It is not a secret that cheese and beer are in love! They are actually of the same origin and a similar way of producing…Beer is made from crops. Our Paprenjak cheese is made from cow’s milk and cow eats those crops from which beer is made…
Cheese & beer go under the process of fermentation and the result is a complementary taste…
With our cheese Paprenjak some hard, dark beer would go nice because Paprenjak is piquant…
Further more, Paprenjak also goes nice with some wheat beer because it is a semi hard cheese…
Every cheese goes nice with beer but in combination with some nice homemade bread – it’s a combination that is really to enjoy…
What is important with matching cheese & beer- it is very important that the taste of one doesn’t surpass the aroma of the other…
Like in everything, there has to be harmony…
Cheeses that are more aromatic and aged go well with some hard, dark beer. If you like light beer , then you have to pair it with some softer cheese…
The origin is also to be considered; it is good to match cheese & beer from the same region…
